Lassana Coulibaly, Lecce midfieldergave an interview to Telerama: “It’s a really bad, dark period for us, and consequently for the city and for our fans. We have to work a lot to win. We prepare them all in the same way, but playing at home or away changes a lot. Obviously it doesn’t we are satisfied with the result: we started with another idea and we are very disappointed with how it went.”
What is your favorite role on the pitch?
“I’m quite versatile, I’ve played in front of the defense several times, for example in Belgium, even though I tend to be more offensive; but I’m always available to the coaches and I do what they ask of me.”
How is it in Lecce?
“I find that the people here are nice and adorable, and this is very important for my family. In Lecce I found a familiar tranquility. The pressure is always there, everywhere, but that’s fine. The city is livable, then I’m a couch potato so we always stay at home.”
What is the recipe for going back up?
“We are aware that things must change and will change for the better. I am aware of the situation and the morale of the fans, and we are constantly working to make things better.”
Empoli arrives on Friday.
“I would like us to play the perfect match and give the fans the satisfaction they deserve, for the support they always give us.”
