Juric saves his place (for now). The credit goes to Dybala: “We had to send a message”

After the humiliating defeat in Florence, Roma found success again in a game that was already in or out for coach Ivan Juric. Against Torino at the Olimpico stadium in Rome, the Giallorossi team won 1-0 thanks to a goal scored in the 20th minute by Paulo Dybala. The South American footballer who for the occasion was deployed in the ‘false nine’ role dragged his teammates along and in the end was the best on the pitch by a distance: “For us it was fundamental to win, we were coming off a difficult week and we understand the fans. This is a game and you can lose, but you always have to give everything. We are sorry for Florence, we had to send a message and the victory was fundamental”, declared the Argentine striker at the end of the match.

This is how Ivan Juric analyzed the match: “After Florence it was important to get back on the right path and today we played an excellent match, against a difficult team to face. Both in the game and in the pressing, in a difficult moment, it went well. We have to make our fans smile and make them come back to rejoice. Only with performances like this can we gain trust again, this is a great goal for my team.”
