Long months as a free agent, then the choice to go down to Excellence to return to the top again: last October 25th the expert striker Cristian Galano had signed the agreement with Polimniaa club from the city of Polignano a Mare which plays in the fifth series of Puglia: a huge crowd for the player born in 1991, called to fight in a group where Barletta seems to dominate, and where therefore the Italian Cup of the category becomes an important viaticum for maintain the coveted leap into Serie D.
And the Cup, played on Wednesday, was favorable for Galano, who scored his first goal with the new shirt. The match then ended 3-2 for his team, who beat Atletico Acquaviva, called to overtime after the first leg, which had ended 0-4 in favor of the new team of the aforementioned Galano, and which had been played before the footballer’s arrival in Puglia.
It should be noted, however, that Galano’s debut had already been seen at the weekend, during the match against Galatina which the Polignano team won 2-1; a few minutes towards the end of the match, which gave rise to his new adventure. The goal was missed, but it didn’t take long to arrive…
