Rome, Juric risks dismissal regardless of Toro. Then the background on the Franchi interval

In Rome the light went out, or rather this season it has never been turned on. Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport analyzes the complicated situation that Mr Ivan Juric and his Rome live in these weeks, even more so after the terrible defeat in Florence. The Croatian coach, although not the only culprit, risks paying with dismissal tomorrow regardless of the result against “his” Torino.

The newspaper adds that last Sunday, during the half-time match of Fiorentina-Roma, everything happened in the locker room, including swearing and forbidden contact. But Juric, also yesterday in the press conference, focused instead on team spirit: everyone united to come out on top again.

Juric’s words on the exemption
“On the first question, I don’t think about exemption, I do my job and what happens, happens. I think that the Roma squad cannot afford exclusions. We need to bring in as much as possible, not exclude but convince. Not convince but point out what needs to be done at the moment. I have contact with the president. We talked about many things and well. These are all things that take away the thoughts on the pitch. The player plays, I coach and the doctor treats. As I said on the first day, I don’t see any shortcomings, in fact I prefer it this way. I make decisions and the management makes you responsible. The rest is a distraction. Everyone has to work hard and this is the right cure to take control of the situation This is my idea.”
