Final result: Juventus – Parma 2-2
JUVENTUS (by Dimitri Conti)
By Gregorio 6 – Called into action already in the 2nd minute, a minute later he collected the first goal without fault. Not perfect on Sohm, he makes up for it with Charpentier.
Cambiaso 6 – He starts on the right wing, on his strong foot, but seems a little tight. Things get better when, after an hour, he moves to the left.
Danilo 5 – Fresh from a disastrous performance with Inter, he still receives the respect of Motta who confirms it. However, it still contains too many assorted errors.
Cats 6 – Upon returning to the starting eleven, he is not very precise in moving the ball around but defensively he offers more security than Danilo.
Cabal 6 – He has to deal with an inconvenient customer like Man: with a few exceptions, he manages to limit him. At least to keep him from getting shot.
From 59′ Savona 6 – When Motta decides to let him in, the task in the lane becomes less demanding due to fewer Parma attacks.
Locatelli 5.5 – He spent the first hour under pace, even missing a few too many touches. He ends up growing, but needs more personality.
Thuram 6.5 – He split the visiting midfielder in half with the ball at the start of the second half, leading to the 2-2 goal. Before and after, other flashes: a discreet test.
From 85′ Fagioli sv.
Conceicao 6.5 – Parma pays him special attention and always finds himself doubled, if not tripled. Even in the grip, he produces a winning assist.
McKennie 7 – The first of his team to make himself dangerous, he is a preview of the goal that will lead to the 1-1. Like every year, it manages to recycle itself in a positive way.
From 71′ Koopmeiners 5.5 – In itself, having him back on the pitch is good news for Juventus fans. It starts off well, but you can’t see it in the end.
Weah 7 – Among the fittest of the last period, he confirmed his performance by providing McKennie with the assist to make it 1-1. And a try again scoring the second draw.
From 59′ Yildiz 5.5 – They were all waiting for his entrance: as at San Siro, in ideas he had to lead the turnaround. And yet everything remains on paper.
Vlahovic 4 – The mistake at the start of the match was sensational, he missed the goal from two steps away. A trashed goal that weighs on the match and for him with a view to growing.
Thiago Motta 5.5 – Having archived the grandiose comeback on the Inter pitch, he wants to win again. And despite the decisive brace at San Siro, he opted to exclude Yildiz from the starting lineup again. Approach with a match to forget, Parma finished ahead (deservedly) in the first half. However, the start of the second half brings parity again and the idea that Juve has the strength to turn it completely in their favor. And instead it’s yet another draw.
PARMA (by Marco Pieracci)
Suzuki 6 – Not to blame for the close headers of McKennie and Weah, a couple of providential interventions but also a big thrill at the end.
Hainaut 6 – Zero awe, when he moves forward he has the right arguments to worry Cabal. It holds up with the entry of Yildiz.
Delprato 7.5 – Goleador not by chance, strikes the Lady coldly. He uses his claws in the duel with Vlahovic, avoids the knockout by saving on the line.
Balogh 6 – Good closures, the surgical stop for Delprato but also too much freedom granted to McKennie who scores without jumping.
Coulibaly 6 – He moves to the left wing, loses the ball in the 2-2 play. It doesn’t clip the wings of the demoniac Conceicao, but it limits the damage.
Keita 6 – The first match as a starter goes by smoothly, even if it lasts only the space of time in which the stage does not suffer. From 46′ Hernani 5.5 – Downgrade in terms of aggression, soft in the tackle won by Thuram which gave way to Juventus’ second draw. Then he goes down. From 75′ Camara sv
Bernabé 7 – All-court play, technical leader and safe haven for his teammates. Not just refined touches, he also knows how to use the club if necessary.
Man 6.5 – Virtuoso of dribbling, but never an end in itself. Just look at how he finishes the yellow-blue doubling action to perfection. From ’85 Cancellieri sv
Sohm 7 – Attacking midfielder with the body, as Spalletti would say: mix of power, vision of the game and insertion times. Force of nature.
Mihaila 6.5 – Sacrificing performance, with the usual mobility. He lends a hand to Coulibaly in the double scoring and participates in the second goal. From 69′ Almqvist 5.5 – Pecchia is infuriated by a poorly managed restart.
Bonny 6.5 – Center forward who makes the team play well, with his movement he attracts the defense to himself. Juve could use someone like that. From 69′ Charpentier 5.5 – He immediately knocks on Di Gregorio’s door, then gets hypnotized by the Juventus goalkeeper.
Fabio Pecchia 6.5 – He prefers the brazenness of his young players to the barricades: a performance that was at times impressive in terms of pace, personality and quality of maneuver. Defeat would have been a joke.
