Fiorentina, after Gudmundsson Kean also stops: Palladino relies on former Kouamé

Raffaele Palladino counts the absentees ahead of the Marassi match. The Fiorentina coach will return to “Ferraris” to face his former team Genoa but will have to do so with several defections especially in the offensive department. With Albert Gudmundsson, another player who took off with the Grifone shirt and arrived in the summer for a sum of around 30 million between loan, redemption and bonus, in the pits the Viola coach will have to redesign the attack once again. Moise Kean will not be part of the trip either, having remained in Florence following an ankle problem suffered against Roma.

An absence in the season
In the league for the moment the attacker has always been present in the nine matches that De Gea and his teammates have played so far, scoring four goals overall. The striker, however, did not take part in the last European away match at San Gallo, a match he nevertheless won 4-2 thanks to goals from Martinez Quarta, Ikoné (a brace for him) and Gosens.

Kouamé false nine
It will then be up to Christian Kouamé to lead Fiorentina’s attack. The Ivorian striker, also on the list of former rossoblù players, will have the task of playing as a false nine and trying to find the right spaces to hit the opposing defence. This season he has already collected 12 tokens without ever scoring but with four assists between the championship and Conference League.
