The negotiation between Naples and the entourage of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia continues. After the contacts of the last few hours between the Azzurri managers, the Georgian’s father and the agent Mamuka Jugeli, even in the evening negotiations continue to arrive at the long-awaited white smoke.
The figures
The summit will continue until this evening, when the agent will leave Milan, where the meeting is taking place: up to now, Napoli has put on the table a proposal of 5 million euros as a fixed base plus bonuses to go up in the years, with the maximum limit being the figure of 8 million euros. Kvaratskhelia’s request through his entourage is instead different: 5 million fixed part to rise, reaching 8-9 million euros net after 3 or 4 years. Then there is the issue of the termination clause which remains to be clarified: Kvara’s entourage would like it to be worth 80 million euros plus a commission on any future resale, a sort of recognition for having brought the player to 9 million plus bonuses in 2022 For their part, Napoli would not like to include any release clause, but if they were to be forced, the figure should be much higher, according to De Laurentiis.
Yesterday evening, the Georgian spoke like this after the success against Milan: “I worked for this but the important thing is the team’s victory. I’m happy and we deserved to win this evening. Do you believe in the Scudetto? Of course, we believe in it. We are doing well, we must continue to do so, we know we can do it again.”
