“Bedbugs in Trigoria, they ask us for a cleanup”, Roma also called Gallo’s agency

Equalize, the private investigation company that came under investigation in Milan for trafficking in confidential information, also came into contact with Roma in 2023. The reason? Complete remediation work at the Trigoria sports center and in the offices in via Tolstoj (which until February represented the headquarters of the Giallorossi club). A simple job, “worth three thousand euros”, as emerges from a specific wiretap between Carmine Gallo, the former super policeman now under house arrest, and Roma’s security manager. And that would allow the investigation company to contact the Friedkins.

An important objective that could be achieved by finding and destroying the bugs that someone had planted in the team’s headquarters. Or at least this is what the former super policeman Carmine Gallo, now under house arrest, tells Enrico Pazzali, owner of the private investigation company at the center of the Milanese investigation into the trafficking of confidential information. It is a phone call from 26 April 2023 that reveals Equalize’s contact with a trusted man of the Giallorossi club: “I met the Roma security manager… He asked me about some reclamations to be done both in Trigoria and in the offices of the Rome”, says Gallo.

The latter informed Pazzali, owner of Equalize, “of the need to proceed with a reclamation of the As Roma premises to bring the important client closer”, we read in the information attached to the investigation. From the documents comes another chat between Gallo and Pazzali: “When they changed the headquarters and everything a little… they entrusted the task to a company and they realized that this same company that had to do the reclamation… put something in them to say, we found it, when in reality they did it to justify their presence there.” To report it all is The Republic.
