First half between goals and errors. Swing of emotions at the U-Power Stadium in the match between Monza and Venice, especially in the first half. In fact, the final 2-2 already matured in the first half of the game. Venezia started strong, Oristanio created the action and the assist for Ellertsson who gave the guests the advantage. Monza’s response comes with a diagonal shot from Kyriakopoulos that makes it 1-1. At the end of the first half, Svoboda’s header (his first goal in Serie A) put Venezia ahead, but then five minutes later Monza equalized again with Djuric, who did well to evade Svoboda’s intervention and beat Stankovic .

In the second half of the game the result does not change. In the second half, few chances and a lot of competitive spirit. There are few actions capable of reversing the inertia of the match which therefore ends with a point each. Of note is Bondo’s expulsion in the 8th minute for a second yellow card. The lagoon players thus leave the last position alone, which is now shared on 5 points with Lecce. Monza rises to 8.

In the post-match press conference, this is the coach’s analysis Alessandro Nesta: “In the first half we started badly and conceded two goals. The good thing is that we restarted this match twice, in the end we attempted an attack but unfortunately we were left with ten men. However, we need to understand and clearly analyze the reasons for This first half was bad. We wanted to win but the way the game went, it’s fine.” So instead Eusebio Di Francescoagain in the press conference: “The first half we played with great aggression knowing that we could also suffer something. But I wasn’t interested because I preferred to stay more in their half of the pitch. I like to defend myself with the dribble, the first part of the match is It was done well. We all have to raise the level to maintain the category, however during the week I had already had some good responses. The positive note is having brought home an important point.”
