Fiorentina-Roma 5-1, the report cards: regret Bove, double Kean. How many Giallorossi in depth

Final result: Fiorentina – Roma 5-1

FLORENTINA (by Dimitri Conti)

De Gea 6 – In the first half the Giallorossi try from afar: Dybala doesn’t catch him unprepared, Kone does. And on a free kick from Dybala he manages to save himself with the help of the post.

Dodo 6.5 – He remains quite composed, observes the position more than usual. But then he also decides to join the party, causing Hermoso to be expelled.

Comuzzo 7 – He takes care of marking a heavyweight like Dovbyk, follows him and growls at him without awe. ID card as a kid, attention as a veteran.

Ranieri 6.5 – Less involved in individual battles and in the marking of striker Dovbyk, he is more concerned with giving direction and stability to the department. And it does it flawlessly.

Gosens 6 – Always attentive in the defensive phase, he is also starting to feel comfortable in the role of full-back in a four-man defence. And never mind if there are fewer offensive progressions.

Cataldi 6.5 – Applied above all in the defensive phase, he keeps Dybala under close observation and leaves it up to Adli above all to set up the game. Good performance from an old style midfielder.
From 56′ Richardson 6 – He enters with the favorable current, clever and able to not complicate things, very often limiting himself to fairly basic management of the ball.

Adli 7 – In Fiorentina’s already sparkling first half he seemed the least involved and inspired of the group. The start of the second half, with an assist for Bove, belies that impression.
From 75′ Martinez Quarta saves.

Colpani 6.5 – Much more on the ball than at the beginning of the season, it can also be seen from small gestures. And the growing condition can be seen from the dribbles that are starting to succeed more and more often.

Beltran 7.5 – He shouldn’t make Gudmundsson regret it and he takes his commitment seriously. He starts with the assist for Kean, converts the penalty to make it 2-0 and starts the poker action.
From 67′ Kouame 6.5 – He had a hand, or rather his head, in the 5-1 goal, sending Hummels into error and thus also playing a role in the romance of the match.

Ox 8.5 – Warm heart among the thousand thoughts that the first match as an opponent with Roma provokes in him: total crescendo, he starts by starting the lead and closes the Rimpianti Tour with 4-1.
From 67′ Thin 6.5 – He goes well with the large spaces left by a Roma now on the ropes and flirts several times with the possibility of scoring. Only Svilar stops him.

Kean 8 – Everyone was hoping for his recovery and he showed why: he immediately scored with a left-footed shot, then did an encore with an easy tap-in before the break. For the rest he fights.
From 75′ Ikone sv.

Raffaele Palladino 7.5 – The recent form is of the best and opts to rely on certainties, also recovering Kean. His center forward repays him with the goal that gives him the immediate lead, but in general it is the team that gives the hoped-for responses. A strong performance, despite an opponent who appeared knocked out for a long time, which allows you to dream big.

ROME (by Paolo Lora Lamia)

Svilar 6 – On a bad evening for Roma, he is, as usual, among the few who survive. Even though the match was one to forget for him too due to the 5 goals conceded, at least it prevented the deficit from being heavier.

Left-handed 5 – In great difficulty against the fast Viola attack, he had to live with the yellow card already in the first 45 minutes, risking a second yellow card before going to rest. From 46′ Baldanzi 5 – He should give more liveliness to Juric’s attacking midfield, but he fails in his aim, rarely appearing in the final metres.

Ndicka 4.5 – It’s certainly not the defensive totem we’ve often seen at the start of the season. He gave too much space to Kean on the occasion of the 1-0, only to be overtaken by Bove when he scored the fourth Viola goal.

Hermoso 4 – Surprise move by Juric, who on his side doesn’t give a big hand to Angelino in the covering phase. He got worse in the second half, receiving two yellows in the space of a few minutes.

Celik 4.5 – Very dark period for him. After the error against Inter in Lautaro’s goal, he repeats himself this evening by appearing too timid when Gosens steals the ball from him and starts the move to make it 3-1.

Cristante 4 – In difficulty in the middle of the pitch like few other times since the beginning of the year, not only through his fault but certainly with obvious responsibilities. Not surprisingly, his race lasts just over half an hour. From 32′ Koné 5.5 – It couldn’t have been a better introduction to the pitch. He comes in and brings his team back into the game, it’s a shame that Kean immediately scores the third Viola goal and then Palladino’s team spreads.

Peas 5 – He starts with a good attitude, both in midfield and as offensive insertions. It decreases in tone and effectiveness as the minutes pass.

Angelino 4 – Juric deploys him on the left, having as a response a total impotence in countering both Dodò and Colpani on his side. From 32′ Zalewski 5 – Something more than his companion which is noticeable above all in terms of thrust, but also a lot of imprecision and difficulty in containment.

Dybala 5.5 – The few Giallorossi offensive actions – Koné’s goal aside – come from his feet. One of the least worst in Roma’s eleven. From 67′ Hummels 5 – Tragic debut in the championship, with the deflection of Kouamé’s header bringing the goals conceded to 5.

Pilgrims 5 – The Giallorossi captain disappoints again, practically never managing to carry the team on his shoulders or get involved in the offensive zone.

Dovbyk 5 – Evening of “I would like but I can’t”. The commitment is there and the support is there for his teammates too, but overall he is kept at bay in the best possible way by an unsurpassed Comuzzo. He disappears in the second half, after an acceptable first half.

Ivan Juric 4 – If there was a timid spark in the Europa League, today’s evening plunges his Roma back into the tunnel of difficulties and criticism. His initial choices give negative results, so much so that he changes two after just over half an hour. Team beaten by Fiorentina, a turning point is needed.
