Ballon d’Or, Kroos: “Rodri will win. But I don’t think individual awards are that important”

The former German midfielder Toni Kroos spoke about the Spaniard’s probable victory of the Ballon d’Or Rodri who would have beaten the madridista Vinicius Jr causing a controversy to erupt in Spain – and not only – so much so that Real Madrid did not show up at the ceremony taking place in Paris.

“Rodri will obviously win it, but I don’t think these prizes are that important. – explains the German – I believe in my heart of hearts that individual prizes in football have no meaning. They can be awarded in tennis, but not in this sport”.
