Roma’s report cards – Horror movie night, Svilar is the only one who doesn’t make a fool of himself

Final result: Fiorentina-Roma 5-1

Svilar 6 – On a bad evening for Roma, he is, as usual, among the few who survive. Even though the match was one to forget for him too due to the 5 goals conceded, at least it prevented the deficit from being heavier.

Left-handed 5 – In great difficulty against the fast Viola attack, he had to live with the yellow card already in the first 45 minutes, risking a second yellow card before going to rest. From 46′ Baldanzi 5 – He should give more liveliness to Juric’s attacking midfield, but he fails in his aim, rarely appearing in the final metres.

Ndicka 4.5 – It’s certainly not the defensive totem we’ve often seen at the start of the season. He gave too much space to Kean on the occasion of the 1-0, only to be overtaken by Bove when he scored the fourth Viola goal.

Hermoso 4 – Surprise move by Juric, who on his side doesn’t give a big hand to Angelino in the covering phase. He got worse in the second half, receiving two yellows in the space of a few minutes.

Celik 4.5 – Very dark period for him. After the error against Inter in Lautaro’s goal, he repeats himself this evening by appearing too timid when Gosens steals the ball from him and starts the move to make it 3-1.

Cristante 4 – In difficulty in the middle of the pitch like few other times since the beginning of the year, not only through his fault but certainly with obvious responsibilities. Not surprisingly, his race lasts just over half an hour. From 32′ Koné 5.5 – It couldn’t have been a better introduction to the pitch. He comes in and brings his team back into the game, it’s a shame that Kean immediately scores the third Viola goal and then Palladino’s team spreads.

Peas 5 – He starts with a good attitude, both in midfield and as offensive insertions. It decreases in tone and effectiveness as the minutes pass.

Angelino 4 – Juric deploys him on the left, having as a response a total impotence in countering both Dodò and Colpani on his side. From 32′ Zalewski 5 – Something more than his companion which is noticeable above all in terms of thrust, but also a lot of imprecision and difficulty in containment.

Dybala 5.5 – The few Giallorossi offensive actions – Koné’s goal aside – come from his feet. One of the least worst in Roma’s eleven. From 67′ Hummels 5 – Tragic debut in the championship, with the deflection of Kouamé’s header bringing the goals conceded to 5.

Pilgrims 5 – The Giallorossi captain disappoints again, practically never managing to carry the team on his shoulders or get involved in the offensive zone.

Dovbyk 5 – Evening of “I would like but I can’t”. The commitment is there and the support is there for his teammates too, but overall he is kept at bay in the best possible way by an unsurpassed Comuzzo. He disappears in the second half, after an acceptable first half.

Ivan Juric 4 – If there was a timid spark in the Europa League, today’s evening plunges his Roma back into the tunnel of difficulties and criticism. His initial choices give negative results, so much so that he changes two after just over half an hour. Team beaten by Fiorentina, a turning point is needed.
