Tomorrow “derby” of the Thuram brothers: “Marcus always has a smile, Khephren more reserved”

The sports coordinator of Athletic Club Boulogne Billancourt Football Gilles Bibewho saw Marcus and Khephren Thuram grow up, spoke to the notebooks of today’s edition of Tuttosport of the two brothers who will face each other tomorrow evening in the Italian derby between Juventus and Inter scheduled for 6pm at the Allianz Stadium: “It is not possible to plan professional success or not at that age – he began – even more so being the children of a former great player, therefore with certain pressures. And the proof is with what happened with other children of great champions. We cannot control all the parameters.”

Marcus always smiles: was he like that as a child too?
“Marcus always has a smile. And this is what characterizes him best. He is happy to play, we have the impression that he always has fun on and off the pitch. He also likes to sleep a lot.”

And Khéphren?
“He’s more reserved, after all that’s the image it gives of him. That didn’t stop him from laughing a lot when he was young.”

What were their best qualities as kids?
“The first qualities that emerged were respect, work and humility, in addition to Marcus’ athletic skills, which are out of the norm for his age, and Khéphren’s already great technical maturity.”
