D’Aversa: “Esposito has flair and imagination, it’s a shame not to have him with Parma. Screws in doubt”

Speaking at a press conference on the eve of Parma-Empoli, mister Roberto D’Aversa thus spoke of the great performance offered so far by the young striker Sebastiano Esposito (3 goals and 2 assists in 9 appearances so far), who however will be absent against the Azzurri: “Esposito has flair and imagination, but unfortunately for this match we won’t have it. Also Viti has just come back from a difficult week, today he trained and if he plays he will do so with gritted teeth”, declared the coach of the Tuscan club.

What Parma do you think you will find?
“Parma is a team with good players, with a goalkeeper who is also good at the long ball. They are technically good, we have to be careful throughout the ninety minutes. The level of concentration must be high for the whole match.”

What do you think of Pecchia? How do you manage your strength at the moment, with so many games on the horizon?
“I’m happy for Fabio Pecchia, the fact that he extended his contract and I wish him the best of luck after tomorrow’s match. Having said that, right now we know that we have to face many close matches, but we only have to think about tomorrow’s match. What makes me The happy thing is that I will probably use most, if not all of the squad. This will allow the guys who have played less to show their qualities.”
