Marchionni leaves Ravenna again: he is the new coach of the Giallorossi. The note

Official

After the experiences at the helm of Foggia (38 benches), Novara (61 appearances in two different moments) and Potenza (17 matches) for the former midfielder Marco Marchionni there is a new adventure as a coach in Serie D. The 1980 class has in fact been appointed by the ambitious Ravenna to replace Mauro Antonioli. Below is the note from the Romagna people:

Ravenna FC officially announces that it has entrusted the technical leadership of the first team to Marco Marchionni. The former footballer, with a past of great experience in Serie A and internationally, arrives on the Giallorossi bench to reverse the trend of the last few matches.

Marchionni, who will be accompanied by assistant Massimiliano Capriolo and technical collaborator Daniel Neri in the Giallorossi, has also gained important experience as a coach. After being Silvio Baldini’s deputy at Carrarese, he led important places such as Foggia and Potenza. Among his experiences on the bench, the Serie D championship won with Novara in the 21/22 season stands out.

The club is convinced that his vision and charisma will be able to transmit new energy to the group, aiming for important results both on the pitch and in the growth of individual players.

The new coach’s first words will be released during the presentation press conference, which will be held on the eve of the championship debut against San Marino Calcio in the press room of the Bruno Benelli stadium.

Ravenna FC extends the warmest welcome to Marco Marchionni and his staff, with the hope of embarking on a path full of satisfactions together.”

We welcome the new Giallorossi coach: Marco Marchionni 💛❤
