Zauli on the second teams: “They are helping the young people and the Serie A clubs”

TMW

Interviewed by TMW, Lamberto Zaulicoach of Juventus U23 between 2020 and 2022, also spoke about the help that the second teams are giving to Serie A clubs:

“A lot. The boys are lucky enough to train in amazing facilities, I’m thinking of Juve Next Gen as well as the Milan Futuro of the young striker Camarda. Everything changes… Speaking specifically of the Bianconeri, I think the club has been very good. Every time I see a Serie A or B match now I always see a boy who I experienced in those 3 years at Juve. This means that an incredible job has been done from a scouting point of view.”

You are the coach who made him debut in Serie C: what memories do you have of that Soulé?
“I remember a boy who wanted to get there at all costs, a boy who accepted all the improvements that were proposed to him by the staff. Soulé was just 16-17 years old at the time, but he already had his head on his shoulders. I think that even his first year in Serie A has demonstrated not only his technical qualities, but his mental approach. This last aspect will allow him to overcome the moment of normality he experiences today.”
