Lazio, Baroni: “Dele-Bashiru has very important prospects. The intensity will be decisive”

Marco BaroniLazio coach, spoke to the microphones of Sky Sports before the Europa League match against Twente: “Dele-Bashiru is a boy who has a lot of physicality but also quality, he is good at running forward. Today is a difficult test, they have dribbling and play very well and football. It will take head and positioning, it’s a difficult test and it’s right to see how he behaves because he’s growing, I think he’s a player who can have a truly important prospect.”

Will we find some of the things we saw in the match against Nice?
“I believe in mobility football, I have players who know how to interpret it well, ours is not positional football. The team has been very patient. They have to do it because we are working a lot on having the ball. We find an opponent who plays, even they have a lot of mobility. We will have to be good, we will need a qualitative match and we will have to be good at maintaining the right distance between the departments.”

How important will it be to have the right Intensity?
“It will be decisive, there is an extra gear because the players also feel free to make mistakes and this leads them to play fast and play football in which they are not afraid of making mistakes. We will have to get on par in terms of running, but also in terms of thought: you need legs, but also a quick head.”
