Chiellini and his new managerial role at Juventus: “Like the first day of high school”

Giorgio Chiellini, former defender who joined Juventus last September as Head of Football Institutional Relationsspoke at Tech Week in Turin. Below are his statements reported by Bianconeranews.it: “Studying helped me understand that analyzing players and opponents would make me play better. Before each match, I dedicated 45 minutes to rewatching the previous match, to analyze my mistakes, and at the same time understand what the players liked to do my adversaries.”

And again, Chiellini continues, focusing on his new experience as Juventus manager: “Like the first day of high school. I went to elementary school and middle school in the same building, opposite here. The same school, but in high school it was different. I knew almost everyone, but the perspective was different on the first day it was strange But it is stimulating to create my managerial role, not as a footballer. I will represent Juventus in the institutions. I started with many meetings, like an internship in different areas to understand how Juventus works, not only on the pitch the team structures and the headquarters, but with a big difference behind it. I’m having a lot of meetings, I’m learning, discovering and I’ll be going to the first meetings soon.”

Chiellini then concludes: “I like this part, there is a lot of work and I thank my wife for taking care of the family in this period. The goal?
