Grand opening gestureAjax towards the 450 fans who flew to Baku in Azerbaijan to support their team. Coach Francesco Farioli has in fact decided to reward the Dutch supporters by opening the last training session to the public before the Europa League match against Qarabağ: “We wanted to give something back to them. This is why we decided at the last minute to open the training session for them. Taking 3 days off from work, taking time away from family and spending a lot of money to be here, is a great gesture and a great effort that our fans are making for us. Today it was nice to have some of them with us and exchange a few words with them after the training session.”
