The new UEFA B coaches have been made official. Among them also Leonardo Bonucci

The new UEFA B coaches have been made official by the Technical Sectorwho passed the final exams of the ‘Special Combined Licenses C and D’ course, organized last summer – as usual – in collaboration with the AIC.

In total, the students followed an educational program of 152 hours of lessons, of which 116 in person in Coverciano. With this qualification, the new coaches will be able to be registered as technical collaborators in Serie A and B and as assistant coaches in Serie C, as well as being able to lead all the first teams up to and including Serie D.

In light of the final exams, the best of the course turned out to be Eleonora Petralia, Lorenzo Staiti and the former striker – among others – of Cremonese and Frosinone, Daniel Ciofani. Also noteworthy are the final tests recorded by Matteo Ciofani (Daniel’s brother) and Davide Di Gennaro.

Among the new UEFA B coaches there are many well-known names in Italian football, starting with the fourth most capped player in the Azzurri’s history – and now assistant coach of the Under 20 national team – Leonardo Bonucci. Together with the Euro2020 champion (who in total played 121 matches for the national team) also – just to name a few – Gabriel Paletta, Marco Mancosu, Vasco Regini and Gianluca Pegolo, as well as the former midfielder of the Argentine national team, Lucas Biglia, and the former footballer of the Bosnian national team, Ervin Zukanovic. Among the newly qualified there is also a former footballer who has marked the recent history of the Azzurri, namely Alice Parisi: 80 appearances for the national team and a player who participated in the Italian expedition to the 2019 French World Cup, that of the ‘world girls’.
