Il Secolo XIX – Breda Holding and Capstone target Spezia. A decision will be made at the end of the month

There is again talk of a possible sale of Spezia on the columns of The 19th Century on newsstands which explains how news on this front is expected by the end of the month in a “negotiation governed by a rigid confidentiality agreement, which sees four lawyers, two on each side, personally involved and a series of calls that are clarifying many issues.”

The company interested in purchasing the Ligurian club would be Brera Holding which at the end of September “had made public its interest in acquiring the shares of a Serie B club, without mentioning it, but with clear indications that led to Spezia”. Breda is expected to issue a statement in the next few days to explain the state of affairs.

However, the mere presence of the company does not seem to have broken down doors in the negotiation, but the entry into the negotiations of the American Capstone fund has instead significantly changed the order of factors. We are therefore waiting for a definition, in a positive or negative sense, of a negotiation that marginally began with contacts last summer. – we read again in the Ligurian newspaper – At the same time, the lawyers who have been appointed by the Plateks to negotiate have also framed a parallel alternative which leads to a single subject, not a group. The latter will develop better only after the due diligence between the parties has yielded some outcome. The substantial difference between this and the other negotiations which have recently seen Brera Holdind as a protagonist in the attempt to acquire a Serie B football club, is precisely given by the intervention of the American fund, known to Platek”.
