Juventus needs an own goal: 1-0 to Lazio with the extra man, the highlights

Video

There Juventus has passed the Lazio 1-0 at the Allianz Stadium thanks to an own goal by Mario Gila in the 40th minute of the second half. The match, very close, saw the Bianconeri coached by Thiago Motta maintain constant pressure, but without finding a way to score until the decisive defensive error.

The match had few jolts in the first half of the game, with both teams struggling to create concrete opportunities. Lazio, led by Marco Baroni, tried to defend with order, despite the numerical inferiority after Romagnoli’s expulsion. In the second half, the arrival of Weah and Fagioli gave new life to Juventus, who began to attack with greater intensity. To overcome the Biancocelesti, however, an own goal was necessary, with Lazio having to complain after the match for some questionable refereeing decisions (the aforementioned red card for Romagnoli, but also a missed card against Douglas Luiz).
