During the press conference the former Feyenoord coach confirmed his absence: “Alisson will definitely not be with us in the next few weeks – said Slot -, that’s clear. It’s a bad blow for him and for us, because I think that he has done very well this season and he has done very well for this club for many years.”
The replacement is soon decided. And moreover he had already replaced Alisson with the injury suffered previously in this unfortunate start to the season: “The positive thing, and I have said it several times, is that Caoimhin (Kelleher, ed.) has done well for us in previous years and this season too, so we have a good replacement.
