Ultras investigation, Calhanoglu admits contact with the ultras and now risks disqualification

After coach Simone Inzaghi, Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu also confirmed that he has had contact in recent months with leading exponents of the Curva Nord. He did so during his deposition to the investigators of the Milan Flying Squad as part of the ‘Due Curve’ investigation of the Milan DDA which on 30 September led to the elimination of 19 arrests of the leaders of the organized supporters of Inter and Milan .

Not under investigation, but heard as a person informed on the facts, the Inter midfielder admitted to having known Marco Ferdico and also Antonio Belloccothe other ultras leader killed last September 4th in Cernusco sul Naviglio, and that he only had contact with him “in a personal capacity” and “out of gratitude” after the ultras had shown solidarity for the earthquake in Turkey and Syria in 2023, donating shirts to charity. However, he denied having ever participated in dinners with them, as some of Ferdico’s interceptions suggested, and claims to have only discovered who it was after Bellocco’s death.
