Pogba wants Juve back, but the club doesn’t agree. One way or another it will be goodbye

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is back in the news. He did it with an interview given in Italy to the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’ which comes a few days after the reduction of the disqualification by the CAS from four years to 18 months which will allow him to return to the pitch as early as March. “I trained alone with the trainers this year and I’m ready to return to normal in 2025. I only have one desire, to play football. The love of the fans has never been lacking.”

In another passage the French midfielder then underlined that he only sees himself at Juventus, a club to which he is still tied by a contract until 30 June 2026: “I think I’ll come back ready to train and play with Juve. I’m a player for Juve now. There’s only this in my head today. What will you say to Thiago Motta? I don’t have to speak, the pitch will speak and then Thiago Motta He will judge with his eyes, based on what he sees. The talk is nice, but I want to play and in Juventus and in France I want to be the best.”

However, Juventus does not agree with the perspective outlined by the French midfielder. The Turin club, which had not authorized the interviews given by the player, continues to negotiate the termination of the agreement knowing that it holds the upper hand. Giuntoli’s intention is to reach a shared solution, but if this is not the case he will adopt unilateral termination of the contract for non-compliance based on the 18-month disqualification for doping.
