Roma-Inter, who do you see as favourites?
“Inter are the favourites. Roma have changed the way they play with Juric and have changed something compared to the previous coach; they have won, they are a much more homogeneous team. Juric’s treatment is bearing fruit. The Giallorossi are a threat, it will be played at the Olimpico, there is the push from the fans. Inter will have to be good, as they have always done in the last few years, in playing their game, they are certainly capable of doing so.”
As regards Inter’s start to the season, how do you judge it?
“If you look at last year it started less well. In my opinion, however, it is due to the inclusion and change of some players, but the structure has remained the same. The emotional drive is less strong, but he is finding his motivation in the championship, and the latest results demonstrate it.”
You played several Roma-Inter, or Inter-Roma, which one do you remember most fondly?
“It was one of the few times I managed to score. A beautiful 4-1 at San Siro. A very complicated match at the start, transformed thanks to the champions we had. An excellent memory for me.”
Who is the best player you have played with?
“Always the same. I don’t change the answer to this question, which has been asked to me for years now, and it is Ronaldo, the strongest footballer in the history of football. An incredible player.
