The adventure didn’t start in the best way Wilfried Zaha among the ranks of Olympique Lyon. The Ivorian attacking winger, who arrived on loan from Galatasaray during the summer of 2024, has so far played just two games with 76 actual minutes on the pitch, failing to create a good feeling with this new reality. Zaha did not participate in the French team’s training before Lyon’s last match, a 2-0 win against Nantes, without giving any justification. For this reason, coach Pierre Sage is considering a possible punishment against him: “We don’t want to sanction him to set an example, but rather so that Zaha is aware of the expectations we have of him.
