Palomino: “I’ve only been in Cagliari recently, but I’ve already understood what it means to represent an entire people”

A new appointment with the fans on the island: this afternoon the Cagliari met the Cagliari Fan Club named after the “Ex Rossoblù” in San Gavino Monreale. The first stop of the visit is the mural created by local artist Paolo Mazzucco (aka Mamblo) to pay homage to the legend Gigi Riva and the Cagliari Scudetto winner. With Slo Giorgia Argiolas, the footballers Alessandro Deiola and José Palomino: the president of the Cagliari Fan Club, Alessio Cordella, received the delegation; the president of the local Cagliari Fan Club, Roberto Ortu, accompanied by Renato Copparoni, rossoblù goalkeeper from ’72 to ’78, today on the board of the Fan Club. Nicola Riva, Gigi’s son, was present.

The meeting continued at the headquarters of the Cagliari Fan Club, officially inaugurated today. For the Sanavino Deiola and the new rossoblù Palomino a bath of affection, between autographs and selfies.
