Former OL president Aulas takes to the field for the FFF: “I will run on the list with Diallo”

Jean-Michel Aulas he decided to take the field. The former president of Lyon, and current number one in French women’s football, has decided to run for a place in the FFF (the Transalpine Football Federation) by appearing on the list of Philippe Diallo, candidate for president. The former rossoblù owner commented thus on the notebooks of today’s edition of The Team his decision:

“I had expressed the idea that I would remain only as president of the women’s league – began Aulas -. But on several occasions I was contacted by Philippe Diallo and a certain number of other people. I said to myself that it was nice to be able to defend the women’s football at the highest levels and then perhaps also bring a little more experience within the Federation. It was worth trying for another re-election.

I therefore accepted the offer to be included in the list. As for the idea of continuing to serve as vice president of the FFF, he passed the buck to Diallo. The president will say it. But actually, as far as I’m concerned, I will be happy to be able to continue this mission which is much more important than I had initially imagined. I thought it was a bit consultative – concluded the former OL president – when in reality it is very operational”.
