Djuric: “We have to play again from Monza. Nesta? He helps me with the little tricks”

Milan Djuric, Monza strikergave a long interview published in the columns of Tuttosport distributed this morning on newsstands. The Brianza center forward says: “I bring physique and experience, but I don’t disdain maneuvering and crossing.” On the possible double-digit goal, he says: “Last year I almost didn’t get there in the championship, but more than personal goals I want the team result.”

He then focuses on Nesta, his current coach at Monza: “He helps me especially when clearing markers, some tricks of the trade to anticipate opponents on crosses. Advice from someone of that caliber should always be put in the notepad.” Djuric was chosen by Galliani for Monza: “His and Palladino’s interest was an enormous pleasure. Fortunately the conditions were right, everything came together in a short space of time.” What problems have you been through lately? Djuric says: “We weren’t even too lucky… Maybe a bit of finalization. We realize the moment, we have to stay united and concentrated. I see everyone’s desire to return to the Monza that we know we are.” Who is Monza fighting for salvation on? Djuric explains: “The top ten are known, as Dr Galliani says, I think the others are all there”.

And then he concludes with the right recipe for salvation: “Start playing from Monza. We have to bring out the wickedness as a group and find a victory that unlocks us. Let’s be ready.”
