The fears of the last few hours have been confirmed at home Naples. During his Slovakia match against Azerbaijan the midfielder Stanislav Lobotka he had suffered a muscular ailment which, while awaiting the instrumental tests, put him in doubt for the match against Empoli when the championship resumed. The player, having returned to Italy, underwent the necessary medical checks, as reported by the official website of the Italian club:
“The Azzurri continue their preparations in view of the match against Empoli, scheduled for Sunday at 12.30 at the Carlo Castellani stadium – Computer Gross Arena.
Good morning, Di Lorenzo, Kvaratskhelia, Lobotka, Ngonge and Raspadori have returned from commitments with the national teams.
Lobotka underwent instrumental tests which highlighted a first degree distraction of the left semitendinosus.”
The first recovery time estimate, second TuttoNapoliis at least 10-15 days out, with the midfielder thus not only missing Empoli but also the match against Lecce and then trying to return against Milan in the match scheduled for 29 October.
