Sunday’s defeat against Anzio, during the match of the 6th matchday of Group G of the Serie D championship, did not go down well with the Prince Emanuele Filibertowhich, with the press release reported below, he made it known that he will request a meeting with the president of the LND Giancarlo Abete and with the AIA designator of Serie D to protect his Savoia:
“I’m starting from the assumption that Savoia could have won the match in Anzio with a goal that we weren’t able to score. It’s true that our attackers aren’t able to put the ball in the net at the moment. But losing by a goal conceded at the end of the match and scored by Anzio with a player clearly offside, this is unacceptable for us. We deserve the appointment of referees worthy of our efforts and worthy of a fan base that is rarely seen in Serie D. for this reason I will ask for a meeting with president Abete and with the Serie D designator Aia, not to express sterile complaints about individual matches which, coincidentally, resulted in as many 1-0 defeats against Gelbison (very dubious penalty) and Anzio (goal clearly offside), but rather to defend the credibility of football in Serie D: the Savoia fans are ready to desert the next away matches if they were to notice too superficial management by the referees when it comes to appointing the match director for my team’s matches.”
The goal for Anzio was scored by the referee Giordano from Mat it was assisted by assistant Terrenzi from Pescara. We ask ourselves: how is it possible not to see such an offside?

From the television videos it is evident the First of all: even the corner kick from which Anzio’s irregular goal resulted sees a clear foul on Orta, as the images demonstrate, so it shouldn’t have been conceded. Then on the corner kick there is the clearly offside goal that decided the match.
