How do you prepare for such an important match?
“They prepare with conviction, mentality and awareness. We deserved to play a match like this. We will certainly face a very strong team, but we want to think only of ourselves.”
Is it true that there are no favorites for tomorrow?
“I don’t agree…The ranking is clear, they are first class. They are a European team and a very strong one, but with this shirt on you always play for the three points. They are ahead of us, the numbers say so, but we will fight for it.”
Where are you in your condition after the injury?
“With the technical, athletic and physiotherapy staff we add drop after drop every day. I feel better and better, I’m not at my best yet but with each passing day I feel better.”
Can you play against Bayern?
“I think that Juventus should aspire to be among the top European teams. We got here by beating PSG twice. We are a strong team and we can compete with anyone.”
Is there a partner who impressed you?
“This year a group of players arrived with great quality and with a great desire to be here. I won’t name names, they are all of the highest level. The club has done an excellent job.”
How do you relate to this milestone of ten years since your debut in the Champions League?
“It’s been a while, I’ve had a lot of experience. I’ve had three long injuries, but I’ve always made it. This was a little more difficult, but being part of this team means a lot to me: all the work pays off, being here is a privilege”
