Angelo Antonio D’Agostinopresident of Avellino, gave a long interview to the microphones of First TV. I think they did a good job but then it’s clear that football is like this: we can be good, but if the results don’t come, we can’t do anything about it. Unfortunately, we had to come to this decision I couldn’t make a partial choice at that point, and so everyone went away, trying to make a change and a shock, as Biancolino did”.
Pazienza’s exemption?
“If it had been up to me, the way I think, I would have already sacked him after the first day. Then, it was said: let’s stay calm, we’ve made a plan, let’s try to understand, first day, you know… The first day was very traumatic for me. Something that no one expected. It’s true that we went to a difficult field, where few people win, against a good team, but when you lose like that, you think you made a mistake somewhere. We have I wanted to give Mister Pazienza the opportunity to move forward, because there was a project and the coach had to be given time to work with the team he built. I was patient, yes, but you have to think with your head and not with your gut. Maybe if I had thought in my gut, we wouldn’t have chosen Biancolino and would have made a different choice, some other name, but now we’re happy like this, we just need to recover points.
