Kvara renovation, wall to wall? Napoli doesn’t want to go beyond the signing of Lukaku

The renewal of the contract with an important adaptation of Kvicha Kvaratskhelia is still at sea at Napoli. As reported by the newspaper ‘Il Mattino’, the Neapolitan club does not want to go beyond the offer of six million euros per season, i.e. the salary agreed with Romelu Lukaku, while the Georgian footballer asks for a higher salary after De Laurentiis’ it is pushed up to ten million a year for Victor Osimhen. At the moment it is therefore wall to wall, with coach Antonio Conte called upon to act as mediator to unravel a rather intricate tangle.

Recently, during an interview given to the FIFA website, this is how Kvaratskhelia spoke about his new coach Antonio Conte: “I’m happy to have the opportunity to work with him. Other people told me he was a great coach and I’m happy to be able to experience it first hand. He’s one of the best in the world and with him I try to improve both physically and tactically. I believe that with his help I will be able to achieve the desired results both at club and international level.”

And in yet another passage: “I have always dreamed of becoming a professional footballer, but at the beginning it didn’t seem real. When I went to watch the national team I never imagined that one day I would be on the pitch too, with other children supporting me from the stands. I learned that everything is possible in life, as long as you have the belief and will to do everything to make it happen. Dreams come true. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia made his dream come true by becoming a footballer and playing for his country.”
