It’s endless chaos at United: a fan has violated the locker room. The backstory

The locker room Manchester United has been violated. This is the sensational story that was told by Sun and which is going around the world. Last week, before the match between Aston Villa and the Red Devils in Birmingham, a fan of Erik ten Hag’s team snuck into the visitors’ dressing room and placed microphones, which he used to remotely listen to the conversations between the Dutch coach and the players.

A source said it was “a shocking security breach and there will be serious questions about how this could have happened”. The fan wanted to remain anonymous, but explained that he did it simply to “play the fool and listen to what was said within those four walls”. At the moment the name of the culprit has not emerged, but an investigation has already been opened to identify him.

The fan was said to be using a Chinese cell phone which has a setting where you can activate a microphone when calling from another device. However, nothing has emerged about the content of the conversation between Ten Hag and his players and probably, now that the story has become public knowledge, those responsible will take action to ensure that it doesn’t happen.
