Ultra investigation, Zanetti questioned: “I didn’t warn Ferdico of an investigation. Calm relations”

After Simone Inzaghi, who started the questions yesterday of the individuals registered with Serie A clubs deemed to be informed of the facts regarding the investigation carried out by the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office on the Inter and Milan curves, today it was the turn of Nerazzurri vice-president Javier Zanetti. And the online edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport also reveals some of the quotes from the Argentine’s interrogation.

At the center of attention are two interceptions above the others: the one about which Simone Inzaghi told the now former head of the ultras of the North, Marco Ferdico, that he would work with the club to ensure that the Nerazzurri fans had a greater quantity of tickets than those initially assigned; and the other in which Marco Materazzi tells Ferdico that he learned from Zanetti himself about the investigations started into the Milanese clubs’ curves. When asked about this last question, Zanetti denies: “It is not true”. And therefore he assures that he has not informed anyone of the police investigations.

As regards the first question, Zanetti says that ultra boss Marco Ferdico “mentioned the issue” to me about tickets for the 2023 Champions League final and “I spoke about it with the management base”, not with Marotta, explained Zanetti, after hearing as heads. The former Inter captain said he had never been subjected to pressure, threats or intimidation and that he spoke with the leaders of the team, but always in a “calm” atmosphere.. And they “never did anything bad” towards the club”. An interrogation that lasted about an hour and a half, specifies ‘Gazzetta.it’.
