Salernitana, Soriano: “Palermo’s victory was a liberation. Spezia? Let’s do a joke”

Roberto SorianoSalernitana midfielder, was interviewed by the newspaper The City. The former Sampdoria player spoke about the victory on the Palermo pitch: “It was a liberation – admits the Italian-German midfielder –. We all deserved the victory for what we gave in training even when the results didn’t smile on us”.

Two months after his arrival in Salerno, how is Roberto Soriano?
“Not at the top yet. The injury in Bolzano wasn’t necessary. I was so saddened by that blow to the shin, my goodness! I was returning to play after over two years and I had positive feelings. The debut arrives and you get injured and stay out for two weeks. I was angry but then thinking back to how much I have suffered in recent years I immediately moved on.”

Where can this Salernitana get to?
“I don’t know this yet, it’s still early. But we have faith and are eagerly awaiting the match against Spezia, a team that has never lost in the season. Maybe we’ll play a trick on them, like in the Italian Cup.”
