Milan expects more convincing responses from Jovic, Okafor and Chukwueze. Time is running out

There are three Milan players, all arriving during the summer of 2023, who after a first year with ups and downs are also confirming this wavering performance today which could be counterproductive for them, at least as regards their future at Milanello. It’s about Samuel Chukwueze, Noah Okafor And Luka Jovic. Already in the January transfer window some things could change with the Rossoneri management already having three possible replacements in the notebook.

For each of the three of them – he underlines La Gazzetta dello Sport – the situation is slightly different but the gist could be the same: if they don’t give convincing answers in the immediate future, the club could decide to take a step further. The Nigerian was the Rossoneri’s most expensive signing of the summer of 2023 but he never lived up to expectations. Jovic earned confirmation with bursts that came from the bench every now and then but today he is the spare wheel of the attack. Okafor has shown a little something, even if more is needed.

January market
La Gazzetta dello Sport he is already looking at the January market and underlines that if the performances were to remain the same, the three could also say goodbye under the right conditions: for Chukwueze it means with a sum lower than that for which he was purchased, for Okafor even for a slightly higher sum and for Jovic also at zero.
