On the fifth day of the Women’s Serie A, all attention will be focused on the clash between Juventus and Roma, the two dominators of recent seasons, which will be played in the splendid setting of the Allianz Stadium where over 25 thousand spectators are expected with the aim of reaching the record set by another match in the Turin facility like the one between Bianconere and Fiorentina in 2019 when there were 39,027 fans in the stands. Two teams that come from a good victory on the first day of the Champions League group stage, but are having a different path in the championship: Canzi’s team is in fact the only one with full points and aims to detach the most dangerous rival for the title, while Spugna’s Giallorossi started with the handbrake on, but they intend to stop the Bianconere’s run and close in on the standings.
Fiorentina and Inter could take advantage of the clash, second and third respectively, who will take to the pitch on Saturday: the Viola will visit a last-place Sassuolo and still looking for their first success of the season, while the Nerazzur will face Como Women ambitious and aiming to enter the top five.
To close the day there will be the challenges between a Milan team that is on the rise after the summer revolution and fresh from three consecutive positive results and a Sampdoria team that is struggling to find continuity and is still hunting for their first victory. Salvation challenge instead between Lazio and Naples, two teams who achieved their only victory against Sassuolo, but with the newly promoted Biancocelesti capable of even holding Roma to a draw on their debut.
