Di Lorenzo’s report cards – Positive match or not? From 5 to 7, the votes are conflicting

Discordant votes for Giovanni Di Lorenzo at the end of Italy-Belgium 2-2. The right-wing arm of the national team has often had uncomfortable clients on his side, even managing to come out of them well. But not everyone saw the delay in marking on the occasion of Trossard’s goal as a mistake on his part. “The first half was flawless, in the second half he struggled especially with corner kicks: he was clearly late on the 2-2 goal”, TMW’s opinion.

This is the comment from the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’: “The symbol of Italy that knows how to put itself back in order, even in inferiority. Only an uncertainty on Tielemans, then a providential recovery on Doku and he gives his best in the effort of the siege: great second half”. “Orderly and attentive. Well behind, he sacrifices himself even when inferiority comes with it. You can always count on him”, adds the ‘Corriere dello Sport’.

Thus the newspaper ‘TuttoSport’ on newsstands this morning: “You don’t see much, but he doesn’t make mistakes. In the second half he is among the most attentive.” “What would it mean to leave a meter to Theate? Nothing, if the 2-2 didn’t arise”, writes La Repubblica. “Everything is quiet until Doku moves into his area”, the judgment of ‘Corriere della Sera.
