Benfica, United are considering a buy-back clause for 2003 Alvaro Fernandez

Manchester United are not going through a great moment at all. The 14th place in the standings is the result of a very negative first part of the season with disappointing results which have effectively called into question (once again) the work of Erik Ten Hag. The time to get the boat back on its feet, it must be underlined, as we are still in mid-October but it is clear to everyone how the train must change to return to aiming for high ranking positions.

It is a given that the Red Devils will return to the market in January with the aim of strengthening the available squad with targeted but also quality purchases that can bring a huge outlay of money. There are many names that would be on the notebook of the English club which is already moving towards the additions in view of the second part of the season well in advance.

One of these would be precisely Alvaro Fernandez. According to today’s edition of Oh JogoUnited are already considering whether to activate the clause for the repurchase of the defender who joined Benfica in the last negotiation session. The Spaniard born in 2003 has made nine appearances so far in the league and Champions League for a total of 729 minutes.
