More controversy over Vagnati’s words, yet another banner against Cairo in Philadelphia

“‘Adams? I got him by telling him that a step in Italy could be good for him and then possibly returning to the big European stages, or to Italy but in the important clubs.” These words from Davide Vagnati did not go down well with Torino fans, as they were deemed offensive to the history of the club and its importance. Any fan does not like to be defined as an ‘intermediate step’ and through a banner, the Granata supporters wanted to reiterate the concept.

“Excellent step to go to a more important club. Fuck you, Cairo and this embarrassing club”, read the banner posted this night on one of the walls of the Philadelphia, the training ground of Paolo Vanoli’s team. Despite the flattering ranking, the sporting director’s comments did not go down well with the fans.
