I liked the work off the field more, I made a courageous choice, I didn’t understand it at 35 years old when I coach Padova, but already at the first training session when I stopped with the Pro Patria students, I had a satisfaction and an energy which on the pitch, although I have never reached great levels, I had never tried. In the offensive phase perhaps I think that De Zerbi is a master, if we talk about 3-4-3 Gasperini is another master who has changed football, in defensive terms I think that Giampaolo is also a master, with completely different ideas from Gasperini, not I am a football inventor, I steal left and right, putting together many ideas, developing an idea of football that is functional for the team I coach.
