Rankings comparison: Milan collapse, -7! Lazio smiles: +6. Udinese, sensational leap

Focus TMW

Rankings compared after the first seven days of the championship. A year ago Rudi Garcia was in question at the second break of the season: this year however, with Antonio Conte on the bench, Napoli has returned to excel even if the comparison with last season up to this moment reads ‘only’ +2.
The Milanese are doing badly: Simone Inzaghi’s Inter have four points less, while Milan has seven points and doesn’t seem to benefit at all from the move from Stefano Pioli and Paulo Fonseca.

Juventus’ comparison was slightly negative: -1. Things are worse for Atalanta and Fiorentina despite their latest successes: -3 and -4. On the positive side, the +6 of Baroni’s Lazio, the +9 of Runjaic’s Udinese and the +7 of D’Aversa’s Empoli stand out. Cagliari also did well, having been at the bottom of the table a year ago these days, both Lecce and Monza did poorly. Below is the data.
