Portugal, Martinez loses Inacio. Araujo has been promoted from the Under-21 team in his place

Important defection for Roberto Martinez’s Portugal. The CT actually called Tomás Araújo to replace Gonçalo Inácio (Sporting CP), who was forced to withdraw from the call-up due to injury.

The 22-year-old Benfica central defender was working with the Under 21s and will therefore make his debut in the A team, which will face Poland (Saturday 12th) and Scotland (Tuesday 15th) in the group stage matches of the Nations League (League A) .
