Como, sporting director Ludi: “We have a good budget for the transfer market. Nico Paz destined for a high-level career”

The sporting director of Como Carlalberto Ludi spoke to Radio Kiss Kiss of the current affairs of the Larian home, starting from the initiative launched by the club which announced that it wanted to pay a beer to all the Napoli fans who will show up at Sinigaglia in the return match: “Our CEO has sent an important message, because despite the defeat it was a beautiful atmosphere, like the match, with two teams who competed with each other with competitiveness but also fairness on the pitch. I was struck by many episodes and by the beautiful atmosphere it was regrettable that I conceded the goal straight away , because in Serie A you can’t afford to start playing from the second minute, the teams make you pay for any uncertainty because the level has risen. Much credit to Napoli but we certainly had our faults great impression, and you can already see the imprint of Antonio Conte, a solid team that will not be destabilized. Napoli must be satisfied with the work done so far.”

What do you think of Nico Paz?
“He is destined for a high profile career, if he maintains this level of professionalism and quality he has a bright future ahead of him. Two years ago we began a journey devoted to the possibility of producing a good game, and perhaps imposing it against anyone. Obviously we don’t do it just for show but also to bring us results, and I’m convinced that we will get our satisfaction. The mentality is that of the coach and his staff, we have tried to give him the right players to also reflect those ideas qualitatively players are in line with what we want to do, we have brought in fifteen of them so it certainly wasn’t easy to build such a competitive team in a short time.”

One more thought on the match against Napoli
“I think that at 2-1 the game changed in energy, and in Naples you can’t afford that also because Conte changed something tactically and then we no longer found the sensations of the first half. From then on the match slipped in the hands of Napoli who now seemed in fact in control. We have a good budget to invest in the market and excellent scouting, we are about to reap the fruits of this great work we have done but currently we can say we are satisfied with the point we are at.”
