Ceravolo: “Kean has enormous potential, but he wouldn’t have been a starter in this Juventus team”

Speaking at the microphones of Radio Bianconerathe former Juventus manager Franco Ceravolo he spoke thus of Juventus’ moment: “The evaluation of the referees is subjective because the referees are people, this is something that cannot be changed. My opinion is that on Conceiçao there was no penalty, but at the same time I believe that the warning was exaggerated given that he didn’t protest and in the case in question the physical difference between the attacker and the defender is clear, so an imbalance is plausible even without there being any desire to be clever on the part of the Portuguese.”

On the problems in attack and Kean’s performance in Florence: “I have known Kean since he was a boy and he has enormous potential, but I believe he needs the right environment to explode, an environment that allows him to play continuously. In this Juve he would not have been a starter, the club has decided to bet on Vlahovic aware of the fact that Kean would not have performed at 100% as a bench player.”
