Garnacho confirms his withdrawal: “I had knee problems, I won’t be with Argentina”

Alejandro Garnacho breaks the silence. In the last few hours, an indiscretion has emerged from Argentina regarding his withdrawal from the next matches in October with the Albiceleste due to a physical illness. A fact that was confirmed by the Manchester United player himself through his stories Instagram: “I had knee problems in the last two games and I won’t be able to be in the national team, but I hope to recover to be able to be present for the next match.” An injury that will prevent him from playing against Venezuela (10 October, 11pm) and Bolivia (16 October, 2am).

The indiscretion
The tip of TyC Sports therefore finds positive confirmation in the words of Alejandro Garnacho about his absence from the Argentine national team. The Manchester United left winger, currently in England, will not join the Albiceleste in training camp in Miami because he has been suffering from knee problems for a few days and the Red Devils’ medical staff has advised him not to take risks with the national team and to take advantage a break to rest and recover.

Coach Lionel Scaloni also jumped on this advice and, after due reflection, preferred to leave Garnacho at home to avoid long-term physical repercussions. Hence the final decision to exclude the player from the list of players called up, waiting to know who will take his place.
