The Brazil returns to the top of the world in futsal. The South American national team wins the sixth title in its history by beating Argentina in the final. No surprises in Tashkent, Uzbekistan: the Seleçao were favorites and did not fail, winning 2-1. Di Ferrao in the 6th minute and Rafa Santos in the 13th minute scored the goals that already steered the game in the first half, while Matias Rosa’s goal in the second half was of no avail. For the Albiceleste it is the second consecutive defeat in the final after the one 3 years ago against Portugal, always with the same score.
Brazil had previously won the World Championships in this discipline in 1989, 1992, 1996, 2008 and 2012. The bronze went to Ukraine, which overwhelmed France 7-1 in the final for third and fourth place.
